Falkirk Farm and Shelemah are 2 adjoining properties located just 3 kilometres from the town of Oberon in the Central Tablelands of New South Wales, Australia.
The properties, together, comprise 180 acres of beautiful, undulating to hilly terrain and are bounded by the Fish River Creek, Honeysuckle Creek and Edith Road and situated 1,141 metres above sea level.
Mostly, it is mild and temperate during the day and cool in the evenings. It can snow in winter and it has been known to snow during the summer months!
Falkirk is home to Lin Boswell and her family and all our animals including pets, stock and wildlife - you’ll find details of these under ‘Farm Animals’.
Falkirk is famous for our 3 acre cool-climate garden and Spring display of thousands of different varieties of daffodils and blossom trees.
Now we are extending the experience to Summer, with mass plantings of lavender, and Autumn, with new plantings of oaks, elms, birches, conifers and many other varieties of trees that produce gorgeous autumn colours.
We invite you to come and enjoy the farm and our little piece of paradise during our open dates.
We regret to advise our customers and visitors that we will not be opening for Spring 2014 and until further notice.
We are planning for infrastructure works and extensive renovation of the garden and the house so that we can better accommodate our visitors in the future.
